Kathleen Svoboda

Kathy is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.  She received her Certificate in Catholic Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.  Kathy has provided legal services in multiple roles as prosecuting attorney, Circuit Court Referee, State Administrative Law Judge, and Manager, and as a self-employed attorney specializing in estate planning and probate/trust administration. She has compassionately supported families and individuals in need through employment choices and volunteer work on not-for-profit boards. Currently, Kathy is employed by the Archdiocese of Detroit as a Consultant for the development of organizational strategic plans, leadership team development, and formation, as well as directing faith-based initiatives and follow-up training for teams.  In addition to serving as a member of the Journey to Housing Board of Directors, Kathy serves as a Director for the Great Lakes Regional Board For Alpha USA.  Blessings in her life include her husband, sons and their spouses, and grandchildren.  She is grateful for opportunities to unleash the Gospel and serve God by working with non-profit organizations that assist His people and offer pathways to encounter Jesus Christ.
