Connie Borg

Connie Borg is a convert to the Catholic faith, a wife, and a mother. Mrs. Borg is a leadership team member, lector, volunteer Catechist, and Bible Study facilitator at St Scholastica Parish. In addition to her work with Journey to Housing, she is the Theology Teacher at Christ the King Catholic School in Detroit. Mrs. Borg was formerly a Missionary for the Archdiocese of Detroit, Missionary Strategic Planning Department.
Connie has worked closely with the Michigan State Housing Authority (MSHDA), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), as a Program Leader for Michigan State University Extension Services for evidence-based Financial, Housing, and Parenting educational programming. Mrs. Borg is a graduate of both Michigan State University (Bachelor of Arts, Sociology) and The University of Michigan (Master of Social Work). Connie enjoys spending time with family and friends and learning about and living out the Catholic Faith.
